At Q Print, we enjoy working with a wide range of small-medium sized businesses, providing them with engaging and striking artwork, printed materials, promotional items and exhibition displays. We work across a diverse range of sectors, including estate agents, building contractors, well-being specialists, healthcare professionals and marketing consultants.
In light of this, we wanted to share a recent case study on Anaergia, an energy-from-waste company, showcasing how we can work with our clients. Anaergia uses all of the services we offer, from printed stationery, large format items, promotional items, branded clothing and design, making them an ideal client to showcase our portfolio. Office Manager, Jess Crane, has worked with the company for nine years and has excellent insight into what works well to make the business successful.
Background
Q Print has worked with Anaergia since 2015, and in that time we have worked on and creatively overcome a large number of challenges. I have produced all kinds of printed and promotional items for the team, including stationery, exhibition merchandise, promotional literature, branded clothing, magazine adverts and van signage, to name but a few.
Working with the team at Anaergia is great fun. Having worked with them for some time I have a good understanding of their business, and feel we are all on the same page when it comes to ideas and the creative. I am often their ‘go-to’ when they need something but are unsure where to obtain it. They frequently ask me for my ideas and value my opinion when we are trying to overcome some of the challenges they face. I am always given a good, clear brief on what they are looking for or trying to achieve, which is imperative for any project. I constantly keep them updated on the status of the projects I am working on, and maintain good communication as the project evolves.
About the Business
Anaergia is a global company with the UK office based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. They have offices worldwide, including Italy, Germany and the US.
They are experts in designing, building, upgrading, operating and maintaining Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Plants and organic waste treatment facilities, helping to turn waste into renewable energy.
Our Challenges
One of the biggest challenges we faced was when I was asked to produce an A0-sized magnetic wall map. Anaergia wanted to use magnets on the map to plot their Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Plants around the UK. Having struggled to find a product to suit their needs, I came up with the idea of using a plain magnetic whiteboard, which I dismantled and applied a vinyl-printed map to. This was then protected with a matt lamination, reassembled, and supplied to them as a fantastic finished product.
Anaergia attends multiple events each year, and I am privileged to have worked on all of their exhibition displays, printed material and promotional items. The stands for the events vary in size. We have designed and supplied stretched fabric walls and pop-up displays for the smaller stands. For the larger stands, Anaergia brings a company on board that specialises in exhibition design and build. On these occasions, we have designed and supplied the artwork to the required size, ready to be printed onto their bespoke structure.
Alongside designing and creating artwork for events, we also supply Anaergia with branded items, both for events and for new employees.
Results:
Over the years, we have seen some great results on the various projects we have worked on together, but these results can be difficult to quantify. Proving ROI on printed items and events can be tricky, however, we received some great feedback on the exhibition stand we designed in 2022, with visitors commenting on how well Anaergia stood out from the rest of the crowd. Anaergia and their current and potential clients thought the stand created a professional impact at the show, giving them a competitive edge over their counterparts. We look forward to continuing our work together and seeing the business flourish in 2023 and beyond.
Client Testimonial
“Working with Raina at Q Print is always a pleasure. Having worked with us for so many years, Raina knows our style and is a great sounding board to both bounce ideas off and offer up ideas we had perhaps not considered.
As a person, Raina is very professional but at the same time affable and friendly. She has often worked to our very tight timescales, putting in extra hours in order that we meet our deadlines.
The relationship between Q Print and Anaergia has gone from strength to strength, and we very much look forward to our continued partnership.”
